Based on customer reviews, the Hiplok Gold's most loved feature is its wearability: with a convenient velcro strap it can be fastened around the waist without having to lock it. Should you lose all your keys, a new set can be remanufactured and shipped based on your registration.

Sold Secure GOLD security rating means it provides resistance against the top level tool list (each tool being used multiple times) for a minimum of 5 minutes, perfect against petty thieves. It is constructed from 10 mm hardened steel chain links, which is well above the average in the world of bike locks. While any chain can be cut or damaged, with this size and weight it would take a lot more time, thieves usually prefer quicker and easier targets.
